This is how the author of this blog describes his site.
"There are thousands of ways to get information about wine. Some of them are useful and some are not. The point of this blog isn't to be categorical ('Best sub $20 wines'), regional ('Bourdeaux vs. Red Mountain') or otherwise pigeonholed. It's just meant to be one guy's opinion about the wines I have and the wines I've tasted (as well as anything wine-related that I feel compelled to write about). Some wines I like, some I don't. Some are inexpensive, some I'm embarrassed to tell you the price. So, take all this with a grain of salt. I'll let you know what I smell and taste, but I'm not a professional and will sometimes interpret these things differently than others. I encourage you to let me know of wines you think may be better than the ones I'm tasting – I want to learn from you. After all, wine is not about ratings, hype, price, or what others like...it's about what you like and you can only find that out through exploration."
